The only positive from having an armory in my opinion is to help guilds with recruitment. I haven't seen anyone else talking about this and I think it's an important discussion to have. We know that Classic wow will be running on the modern code and we know it's going to be tied into. I believe asking for Achis, GS and item level really kills some of the spirit in the community. 'I'll join Scholo, level 60 warrior tank' It's just another gearscore/item level indicator.

I think adding something like an Armory could become harmful. So that being said, do you think there will be an Armory for the Classic Servers? I think there will be, and I don't think that's a good thing. I don't believe it was a thing back in Vanilla. I don't exactly know when the Wow Armory was added to Wow, I think it was in BC, but I might be wrong.
