Anxiety for me personally made me isolate myself out of the fear that I’d be somehow rejected or dismissed as an outsider from my people. Be comfortable with people and don’t be anxious. You have strangers that you’ve never met that have a whole story of love, loss, beauty, and pain. It’s also important to realize that you’re not alone on this earth. Even just one quality friend makes the world of a difference when it comes to being lonely. You don’t need a bunch of friends either. It took way too long for me to learn that people won’t always come to you, you have to reach out and be genuinely interested in the person you’re talking to and friendships take consistent effort and work. the best thing you can do is put yourself out there.
